Bookmark Bundle

The key words "MUST", "MUST NOT", "REQUIRED", "SHALL", "SHALL NOT", "SHOULD", "SHOULD NOT", "RECOMMENDED", "MAY", and "OPTIONAL" in this document are to be interpreted as described in RFC 2119.

Purpose

This specifications describes a kind of bundle that contains a bookmark to a website along with the cached version of the page linked. It aims at providing an off-line version of the bookmarked pages.

Specification

The Bookmark Bundle MUST follow the specifications of a bundle. The Bookmark Bundle MUST also have the bundle type bundle/bookmark.

The bundle MUST contains a folder named Bookmark. This folder contains the files describing the bookmark and are specified below.

The uri file

The file Bookmark/uri MUST exists and MUST have the mime type text/uri and MUST contains the URI the bookmark is reffering to.

The cache file

The file Bookmark/cache SHOULD be present and if it is, it MUST contains a cache of the document the bookmark is reffering to. This file SHOULD have a mime-type

If the file Bookmark/cache exists, the folder Bookmark/Includes MAY exists and contains any file included directly or indirectly by the file Bookmark/cache.
